A Button property displays option values as selectable buttons. It works well for short labels that shoppers can compare at a glance.
This is a property inside the personalizer. It is different from the storefront’s Customize button, which opens JUNO.
How to set it up
- Choose Add → Choice → Button and give the property a Label.
- Link a Shopify product option such as Size, or supply manual values.
- Under Behavior, choose whether to enable Multiple selection. Leave it off when the shopper should choose just one answer.
- Review the Default value, Required setting and any extra prices.
- Save and Preview, including on a narrow screen.
Frequent uses
- Single selection for clothing sizes such as S, M, L and XL.
- A short list of style or finish names.
- Multiple selection for independent extras that can be combined.
If labels need a fuller explanation, Radio may be easier to scan. For many values, Dropdown saves space.
Check before publishing
Keep labels short without making them cryptic. Use single selection when the answer selects one Shopify variant option. A shopper cannot buy one configured item in several sizes at once merely by enabling Multiple selection.
Check that wrapping buttons remain comfortable to use on mobile.
