The Customize button opens JUNO’s personalizer from a product page. It appears for products with an active, assigned template when the JUNO app embed is enabled.
Choose language that matches your store and product: “Customize”, “Personalize”, “Configure” or “Персонализирай”. The label tells shoppers what happens next.
Enable the app embed
- Open JUNO’s setup guide and choose Turn on Juno in your live theme.
- In Shopify’s theme editor, confirm that Juno Personalizer is enabled under app embeds.
- Save the theme.
- Open a product with an active JUNO template and test the button.
By default, Replace native product options and buy buttons hides the theme’s variant selectors, quantity picker, Add to cart and Buy it now on personalized products. Shoppers make their choices and add the configured item to the cart through JUNO.
You can turn replacement off if needed for your theme setup. Test the resulting purchase path carefully so shoppers understand which button to use.
Set the label and appearance
Open Customize button in JUNO to adjust the button’s label, colors, shape and icon. Use the preview to check how it fits your storefront, then save and review it on a real product page.
Use a short, descriptive label and enough contrast for the text to remain readable. Changing the button label does not translate the entire personalizer; write property labels, descriptions and step names in the language you want shoppers to see.
Choose the placement yourself
For more control over placement, add the Juno Customize Button app block to the product template in Shopify’s theme editor. Keep the app embed enabled.
- Open the appropriate product template in the theme editor.
- Add Juno Customize Button from the Apps blocks.
- Review the block’s label and its settings for placement inside the product form and hiding native controls.
- Save and test on desktop and mobile.
If the button is missing
Check that you are viewing the theme where the embed is enabled, that your template is Active and that the product is assigned to it. Also check the product template if you placed the button with an app block.
If the button appears twice or the theme’s original controls remain visible unexpectedly, review the embed and block settings together. Contact us if your theme needs help.
