Photo posters and prints with JUNO

JUNO lets shoppers upload their own photo, see it placed on the print and add a title and a date. Size and frame are variants, so each combination carries its own price.

What the shopper does

  1. Pick the size and frame. Size is a button group and frame is a colour swatch. Both are Shopify variants with their own prices.
  2. Upload a photo. The photo is placed on the print as soon as it is chosen.
  3. Add a title and a date. The title has a character limit; the date is shown in a fixed format.
  4. Add to cart. The price follows the chosen size and frame.

The preview combines the selected product photo with the shopper's placed text or artwork.

What the merchant gets

Each order arrives in the Shopify admin with:

  • The variant for the chosen size and frame.
  • A link to the uploaded photo, plus the title and date, as line-item properties.
  • A print-ready PNG for each configured print area, rendered at 300 DPI when calibrated and linked on the order.

Use these guides to adapt the example to your products:

  • Color swatch — Represent product options with solid color samples, while keeping the selected variant and product photo connected.
  • Button — Offer compact labeled options with single or multiple selection, such as sizes, styles or independent extras.
  • Text box — Place a shopper’s name, initials or short message on the product and control its appearance and allowed length.
  • Date picker — Collect a date, choose how it is formatted and decide whether to show it on the product or send it only with the order.
  • File upload — Let shoppers upload their own photo or artwork, control accepted image formats and preview it in a placement on the product.
  • Orders & print files — Find personalization details on Shopify orders and understand how calibrated print areas produce PNG files for fulfillment.
