Choice properties

Let shoppers select options. These controls do not place artwork on the product.

  • Dropdown

    Offer one choice from a compact list, using Shopify product options or values you configure yourself.

  • Radio

    Show a short list of mutually exclusive choices so shoppers can compare the options before selecting one.

  • Checkbox list

    Let shoppers select several independent options, such as additional services or packaging extras.

  • Color swatch

    Represent product options with solid color samples, while keeping the selected variant and product photo connected.

  • Image swatch

    Show material and texture samples as selectable options, using reusable images from a Swatch palette.

  • Button

    Offer compact labeled options with single or multiple selection, such as sizes, styles or independent extras.

  • Switch

    Offer an on/off choice, reveal optional personalization and charge an extra price only when it is enabled.

  • Range slider

    Collect a numeric choice within minimum and maximum bounds, with a step that controls the available increments.

Placement properties

Add personal details and artwork, or collect information with the order.

  • Text box

    Place a shopper’s name, initials or short message on the product and control its appearance and allowed length.

  • Comment

    Collect a shopper’s note with the order without displaying it on the product or including it in the artwork.

  • Arc text

    Place custom text along a curved baseline for emblems, apparel graphics and circular compositions.

  • Date picker

    Collect a date, choose how it is formatted and decide whether to show it on the product or send it only with the order.

  • File upload

    Let shoppers upload their own photo or artwork, control accepted image formats and preview it in a placement on the product.

  • Design

    Let shoppers choose your prepared artwork and display the selected design in a defined position on the product.

  • Time picker

    Collect a time in 12-hour or 24-hour format and optionally display it as part of the product’s personalization.

  • Number box

    Collect a numeric value with optional bounds, decimal places and a unit, and decide whether it appears on the product.

Store setup & orders

Connect product photos, reusable assets, storefront settings and fulfillment.

  • Product views

    Match product photos to a view and Shopify option combination so shoppers see the item they are personalizing.

  • Swatch palettes

    Create reusable material and color samples for Image swatch properties, with named photos that match your option values.
