A Number box lets shoppers type a number. You can set minimum and maximum values, allow decimal places and add a unit such as kg or cm.
With Show on product enabled, the number is placed on the product photo. With it off, the answer is sent only with the order.
How to set it up
- Choose Add → Placement → Number box and set a descriptive Label.
- Under Behavior, set Min and Max where needed. Choose Decimals or whole numbers only.
- Add a Unit if applicable. The unit appears with the number in the field, on the product and on the order.
- Choose whether to enable Show on product. Position and style the value if it will appear in the artwork.
- Use Preview value for layout testing, review Required and any Extra price, then save and Preview.
Frequent uses
Use Number box for birth weight or length on a keepsake, a jersey number or a measurement your workshop needs. For names, codes with letters or formatting that must be preserved exactly, use Text box.
Use Range slider for selecting a value by sliding through regular increments.
Check before publishing
Set bounds that match what you can produce and label the unit explicitly. Number box accepts non-negative numeric input; choose the number of decimal places to match the precision you need.
The number is personalization information. It does not automatically change item quantity, calculate an area-based price or resize the artwork. Test the order and print output for the intended use.
