File upload lets a shopper supply their own image, such as a photo, drawing or logo. JUNO displays the image in the placement you configure, and an upload link is included with the order.
Use Design instead when shoppers should choose from artwork you have prepared.
How to set it up
- Choose Add → Placement → File upload and give it a clear Label, such as “Upload your photo”.
- Position and size the image area on the product.
- Choose a Preview shape: Original aspect ratio, Square, Rectangle (4:3) or Circle. Shapes other than Original crop the image to fill the mask.
- Select the Accepted file types and Maximum file size (MB). The supported formats are PNG, JPG and WebP; the default limit is 10 MB and the maximum configurable limit is 20 MB.
- Add useful image instructions in the description, review Required and any Extra price, then save and test an upload.
Frequent uses
Use File upload for photo prints, pet portraits, family keepsakes or customer-supplied logos on merchandise. Use a square or circular mask when the product has a defined image area; use Original when preserving the whole image is more important.
PNG can be useful for artwork with a transparent background. The source image still needs enough detail for the intended print size.
Check before publishing
Test both portrait and landscape images so shoppers understand the crop. Check the accepted formats and size limits against your instructions. SVG, PDF and AI files are not accepted by this property.
Follow the uploaded-image link on a test order and inspect the final print file. A live preview does not guarantee that a small source image will print sharply at a large size.
